Mike is one of those rare individuals who chooses to live life the right way. Choosing to use his success to enhance the safety and happiness of millions of less fortunate people.
Mike has painstakingly organized a team of adventurers, and gathered donated firetrucks from fire companies around the US. The people of Kathmandu Nepal number in the millions, and there are only 2 (two) very dated (like, pre 1980, i believe) firetrucks for the whole city. This expedition aims to take firetrucks to the city and build a fire station.
Even before a devastating earthquake, and a blockade by India, Michael Kobold toiled and negotiated to help protect the people of Nepal by bringing them firetrucks on a precarious and incredibly dangerous expedition.
I most admire Mike's character, he's very able to be a normal successful businessman and just turn his success into his own pockets, but instead he chooses to strive to help millions of less fortunate souls on the other side of the world.
I believe it would go quite a long way at outfitting the expedition team and helping with some travel expenses for the long and dangerous journey of taking several american fire trucks, by rail to the west coast, then by ship to india, then driving them across india and up the precarious Tribhuvan highway and ultimately into Kathmandu where they'll be housed at a brand new fire station.
Mike doesn't drink, so make sure to congratulate his win with some ice cream. (he loves it) But, I'll take any extra bourbon you want to open to celebrate.
